DanceStep<\/strong><\/h3>\n

A Dance Student Teacher Education; <\/strong>formalised and progressive Dance Student Teacher Education Program that empowers students to serve as role models, grow as leaders and care for others in their dance studio community.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

At NA Dance Company<\/strong> we are very excited to announce we are now a registered affiliate studio and member of the DanceStep program. Offered in partnership with studio teachers, DanceStep empowers students to take care of others and guides them to be leaders and role models.<\/h3>\n

The program covers assistant teaching skills such as behaviour management, different learning needs and styles, Safe Dance Principles and Anatomy to name just a few. These concepts are broken down to be taught in a sequential and age appropriate way to children from ten or eleven years of age. Whether students are considering a career in dance teaching or otherwise, the DanceStep program is a great preparation for many aspects of life.<\/p>\n

Working alongside our dance teachers, assistants also study theory from the DanceStep program, providing valuable knowledge in areas such as Anatomy, Safe Dance and Learning Styles. The inclusion of leadership studies and self-awareness activities seeks to encourage students to take responsibility for themselves and others in a supported environment which often results in increased levels of self-esteem and confidence.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
